Android 2.2 Tablet PC VS iPad 2 Difference and Comparison
You can get a fun and usefull android system lots cheaper then iPad. As the new android come out they can get pricey and if you want them then you should look at the iPad but if you want a nice, inexpensive tablet than an android tablet is fine.
Apple has strict requirements if you want to submit it to the itunes store, because of this, the quality of Apple applications in the app store is generally much higher and they come with fairly high price tags, depending on your perspective. while android is open and almost anyone can submit apps. As a result you will see alot of android apps out there and need to check the reviews a little closer to make sure it is want you want, paid applications are also a little bit cheaper, though not always the case. If you go with Android you also get to customize your tablet with ROMS and also install applications like VLC which Apple has a problem with. With Android Honeycomb out now, it seems to have a fairly good user experience but the apps still do need polishing up.
Android works on the android OS and a little less user friendly than the iPad, but that shouldn’t be a deal breaker since that unless you are doing some heavy computing most of the stuff you would do on a tablet is pretty easy to figure out. also since there are plenty of android users out there it is easier to get user friendly apps and OS.
