MacBook Pro 13 VS 15 or 17 inch for College Student

Choosing macBook pro for College Student depending on what programs would be using at college, portability and price. The macbook pro 15 has higher specifications both the CPU and GPU.  The macbook pro 13 had more portability and would fit better in backpack. but if you worked on harder, more complicated programs like 3Ds, film editing software such as final cut Pro, then you would need the macbook 17. It’s more expensive and slightly heavier to carry around, but the extra HD, RAM, and 2 extra USB ports are definitely worth it if you use them.

15 inch MacBook Pro model is significantly faster than the 13 inch macBook pro models. Graphics performance in the 15 inch macbook pro is better, too. However,  if your main needs office, internet, e-mail, etc are basic and a 13″ model would work well for those kinds of tasks. A 13″ model will work well for graphic design too, although many find that a larger display is of more use for graphics applications.

For most college student macbook pro 13 would be great for what you need. Dont overspend when everything you are capable of doing is at the 13. it’s ultimately your decision whether or not the larger display, extra performance, for gaming and graphic design interests specifically is worth the extra money to you.
